Elaine L. Schain enjoyed an extensive career as an elementary ESL teacher where she pioneered many creative initiatives to strengthen instruction for English Language Learners at the elementary and adult education levels. Following her retirement, she joined RTAC. For the past eleven years she has been a dedicated RTAC volunteer who enjoys working behind the scenes to support RTAC’s membership initiatives and semi-annual luncheons/business meetings. In 2022 and 2023, she contributed countless hours to promote and ensure the successful observance of RTAC’s COVID-19 protocol to safely restart our semi-annual luncheon/business meetings. She recently said that she has attended 40 RTAC Luncheon and Business Meeting since joining RTAC in 1999.
