Dr. Lillian H. Degand Lillian joined RTAC's Board in 2024 and initiated the popular book exchange at our semi-annual luncheons. She serves as a student teacher supervisor for National Louis University and as a 'guest' teacher in the Chicago public schools. In those two roles, she supports RTAC's membership outreach by introducing local school staff to RTAC's mission to protect the economic security and ancillary benefits of retired CPS educators. She believes that all retired Chicago public school educators should be RTAC members because RTAC's 99- year history of advocacy on behalf of Chicago's retired educators is reflected in its mission and ongoing activities.
