Patrick M. Keating, Sr. joined RTAC following a wide-ranging CPS career in which he initiated upper-grade departmental subject-based programs, served as a case manager, counselor, and assistant principal. He concluded his CPS career as principal of Dirksen Elementary for 17 years. Pat has served as a RTAC Director since 2018 and was a member of the Legislative and Membership Committees. He also serves as a consultant for the Illinois State Board of Education and as a professor at Northeastern Illinois University. Pat has served in leadership roles in a variety of community-based organizations where he used his budgetary and organizational experience. He is also active in his church community where he serves as an Eucharistic minister/minister of care for the homebound.
