1990

Contracted with a Legislative Advocate (Lobbyist) to provide the most current information on proposed legislation and to encourage legislators to introduce legislation which could protect and/or enhance our pensions.

2013

Worked collaboratively to defeat legislation that would have been detrimental to our pensions and prevented continuation of ‘CPS’ Pension Holidays by having RTAC members call and emailed their ILGA Senators.

2014

Established a ‘Legal Defense Fund’ to engage attorneys who will work to overturn any legislation detrimental to our pensions, health insurance rebate and/or automatic annual increase.
